Our Story
Danielle and Ryan's story began in October 2021, when a few mutual friends decided it was time to get out and enjoy some post-covid activities. It was at Atlanta's 'Brunchfest' where they first met. Danielle stood out in her bright pink pants that Ryan thinks should be a staple of her everyday wardrobe. They spent the rest of the day drinking bottomless mimosas and dancing the day away, wondering if they would ever see each other again!
After a few more mutual friend parties, Ryan decided to ask Danielle out on a date. As they both have a shared love for animals, Ryan asked Danielle to go for a hike to "give the dogs some exercise" as a means to spend time with her. After a few hours, it was apparent they had a thing for each other. Many taco and margarita dates later, they took their relationship to the next level - boyfriend and girlfriend!
Another thing they had a shared love for is traveling. During the first few years of their relationship, Danielle and Ryan have traveled all over the world - Canada, Spain, Portugal, Costa Rica, and many US states in between. If they could make traveling a full-time job, they would!
In 2022, Ryan and Danielle adopted another dog into their lives, taking their relationship to a whole new level. While Danielle's first dog did not quite enjoy the new roommate, each of them grew closer together during numerous hiking adventures around Georgia! Little did Ryan know that Danielle was ready for a human roommate as well.
In 2023, Ryan sold his home and moved in with Danielle, creating a space filled with laughter, love and countless memories. They really put their relationship to the test - home renovations. After an almost complete house remodel (thanks water damage!), they realized that if they can survive home remodeling, they can survive anything!
On April 27th, 2024, their journey turned the page to a new chapter when Ryan proposed to Danielle. Surrounded by a beautiful beach sunset in Costa Rica, Danielle said "Yes!" The dogs were also excited to find out their roommate would soon become their official dad!
